About who needs care: 84-year-old female whose suffered strokes, so speech and mobility aren't strong. Mild dementia. Very easygoing personality. Frail and slight frame. Need help with diaper changes, brushing teeth, dressing, meal prep/feeding, and transfers. No housework, errands, shopping or doctor visits. An ideal day would have someone come in the AM to get her up, changed, dressed, fed and transferred to her chair (she mostly watches TV). This could take anywhere from 1-4 hours. Then, if someone could come by around dinner time for the same in reverse with her being put to bed. This could take anywhere from 1-4 hours. The "work" itself only takes about 2 hours per day maximum, so hours and structure are VERY flexible. A non-stop 8-hour shift is not ideal for us, but we are open to flexible arrangements. About the care needs: Someone caring, kind and honest. Glenda's needs, based on where she is at, are very minor, and I believe this to be an easy job overall. Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, feeding, and bathing / dressing.
