About the job
About who needs care: My stepfather has COPD, congestive heart failure, and diabetes. He receives a couple of hours in care a week his hospice agency and a few hours a week from another agency, because I have MS Im unable to assist him as much as I would like. About the care needs: My stepfather is a retired engineer. He is very good natured except when dealing with his smartphone. Patience and empathy are what he needs. We need someone who is experienced and comfortable bathing an older gentleman who is in poor health. We have a couple of cats. Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, companionship, feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
