Help needed for my mother in her 80s - seeking part-time companion care. The ideal match will meet the requirements below. We're looking for someone to provide companionship. Part of your responsibilities will include running errands. We ask that you handle transportation as needed. Preferences for a caregiver who is a non-smoker and comfortable with pets. She had a struggle with vascular dementia (pre-dementia), caused by a persistent uti, but does not have Alzheimer's or dementia. She is easily confused or exhausted. That said, she generally gets around on her own (albeit slowly and often with a cane) and can perform low weight and low complexity functions only.
