About who needs care: Post Surgery Recovery help. Mother just had brain surgery and needs assistance and care beyond the ability of my father to provide. She has mobility issues, memory issues, and incontinence issues caused from her brain condition - normal pressure hydrocephalus. She spends most of her time watching TV but she needs help with mobility and hygiene tasks. She may need some cognitive help as well. About the care needs: Someone who is used to working with adults with some symptoms of dementia and cognitive decline. Someone who can help with mobility and physical therapy like things as well as hygiene. Someone to keep her company while my father is working. Services needed include: companionship, feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
