About the job
Help needed for my mother (94) and father (99) - seeking part-time hands-on care. The ideal match will meet the requirements below. We prefer someone who can help with mobility for father who needs help transitioning for wheelchair to bed and back. Can stand and use walker for short distances using a gait belt with constant monitoring to prevent fall. Mother is mobile and independent but does not have the strength to handle father's mobility needs. Need help with father's evening and bedtime routine, light supper, help to toilet, teeth brushing, getting into bed, etc. Current daytime help is unable to help in the evenings. Mother may need some help with laundry or dishes. Looking for a caring and compassionate caregiver for a kind and sometimes funny couple who want to stay in their house as long as possible.
