About who needs care: Diabetes, vision issues, balance issues, medication issues. Needs to walk and get exercise, some one to help her do her PT exercises. About the care needs: She needs someone she can't manipulate into letting her vegetate, who is positive, outgoing, and thick skinned. Someone who won't take it personally when she is frustrated at her lack of abilities. She was a strong, independent woman who didn't let anything or anyone get in her way. Now, it is difficult for her to be in her position of neediness. She needs activity and movement and possibly something creative. She also needs someone to write down how many different doctors she says she is seeing and what they are all saying. Someone committed to helping her regain a sense of independence. Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, and companionship.
