Hands-on Care Needed For My Father In Darlington

About who needs care: He had a stroke. He has lost mobility on the left side of his body. He needs assistance with bathing, toileting and transfer. He gets up in the morning, gets washed up, brushes his teeth & does grooming. Then eats a meal. Does a few exercises. About the care needs: The best fit would be someone who is competent, kind, professional and skilled at dealing with stroke patients. They need to be proactive about assisting, able to help the patient transfer from wheelchair to the bed and the sofa. Willing to assist with meals and light cleaning. Services needed include: feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
