About who needs care: Dad is 91 and has lost the ability to walk and has lost some sensation in his hands. He wears a diaper and is unable to use a commode or toilet. Dad is pleasant, cheerful, and sharp as a tack. He lives with his daughter but prefers personal care not from daughter. About the care needs: Need assistance with getting Dad cleaned and dressed in the morning and evening and transferred to/from his bed to wheelchair or chair. Family can assist/do transfer if necessary. Dad likes to play cards, watch sports (Philadelphia sports favorite), and old movies. He's generally very pleasant and will sing songs to you. Services needed include: Bathing/dressing, personal care with toileting, and mobility assistance. A couple hours in the morning and evening is desired and we can be flexible to the CNA's needs.
