Delightful Senior In Need Of Companionship Care During Dialysis Treatment 3x Week (MWF) In Westerly

Care wanted for well-traveled, college-educated senior with a calm temperament who loves a good excuse to laugh in Westerly, RI. Seeking companionship during dialysis which occurs three times a week. Help is needed to help her keep still during treatment and stay engaged until her spouse picks her up. Caregiver will meet at the dialysis center on the Monday, Wednesday and Friday from roughly 2:15 p.m. to 5:15 p.m. (see details below) on a weekly basis in Westerly, RI and stay for the duration of treatment. Each treatment expected to last 2. 5 to 3 hours. The first few weeks of treatment may include shorter visits of 1. 5 to 2 hours. The caregiver selected may have the opportunity in the future to support foreseeable long-term needs: support in medication management, meal preparation and evening companionship during "sundowner" spells, etc.
