Weekend Companion Care Needed For My Loved One In Westerly

I'm looking for companion care for my stepmother who is 76 years old with mild cognitive impairment. This position is truly about providing companionship and social interaction. She is still a very capable person who can cook, clean and engage in great conversation. Experience with dementia patients and elderly strongly desired. This caregiver should be calm, caring and patient. Duties to include but not limited to: helping keep a calendar providing prompts and reminders about upcoming activities and important dates. This person should enjoy going for walks, puzzles or just sitting quietly. Other responsibilities include running errands and possibly light housework. Car, proof of insurance and background check required. Must be a non-smoker. CPR / first-aid trained and medicine management desirable.
