About who needs care: Autism, ADHD, PTSD, panic disorder and depression (Not elderly, she is early 30s) Looking for respite care for existing caregiver with possibility of some recurring help if a good fit. She likes creative writing and gaming, and she is able to work from home with some accommodations. Her panic attacks have gotten really bad and it helps to have someone help her slow down and take care of herself. She mostly needs companionship and a little casual advice when she cant slow down and think or communicate well. (All her conditions interact so its hard to balance symptoms and stay focused on what she wants to do with her day, which is usually some work, self care and chores.) About the care needs: Trauma-informed, anti-ableist, respectful, LGBTQ+ friendly, non-religious, neurodivergence knowledgeable, not pushy or condescending. Experience as an aide for an autistic adult preferred (especially an independently living one), but not required. She is medium to low support needs on the autism spectrum. Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, and companionship.
