About who needs care: My Mom has Parkinsons, she lost her sight and has sundown . My dad is her care taker and I help as much as I can but its overwhelming especially for my Dad because he is afraid to leave her not even to go outside but he needs a break also my mom needs showers every other Day .. My Dad will do it but God forbid he ever falls she also has to be taken to the bathroom .. my Dad has her doing some exercises and he does an incredible job with my Mom he loves her so much but I he needs help plus My Mom does not always sleep all the time so my Dad lacking in sleep , Thank you, Rick About the care needs: My Dad needs the help but has trust issues to leave my Mom with anyone so he would need to feel confident or comfortable with someone thats tak care of my Mom .. My Dad use to work in yard or do things around the house but know basically wont leave her side .. so even starting slow 1-3 hrs with someone experienced friendly that could give my Mom a shower , sit with her maybe light cleaning or preparing a meal ( some food she needs to be fed ) Hoping he will be able to go in yard or take a ride to the store or Dr appointment ( he just needs help Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, feeding, and bathing / dressing.
