About the job
About who needs care: She has lung and stomach cancer. She has a hard time getting up to do things like getting drinks or food to eat or even taking a shower. Her daily schedule is usually the same everyday. She will wake up anywhere from 9am-11 a.m. Then she will get up out of bed and then go lay straight on the couch an watch tv, take her medication if she remembers that morning. Then she will lay there and sleep or watch tv untill I get home between 3-4 p.m. She will not eat or make her own food through out the day. No one comes to visit or check on her through out the day. I am the only one who takes care of her and I work from 6am-3 or 4 p.m. monday-friday and I sometimes even work on the weekend. So it is very hard to watch her and help her and take care of her when im not home most of the time. About the care needs: I would have to say for the personality they would have to be friendly and likes to talk. My grandma likes to talk and have conversations. I would say im not sure to maybe no to any specialized skills. She doesn't have any hobbies or interests that I know of. She mostly sleeps and watches TV all day because there is no one around to take her out places or do anything untill I get home from work. Then we will go on car rides and look at different houses and scenery an maybe get a snack somewhere. Services needed include: companionship, feeding, and bathing / dressing.
