About the job
About who needs care: We are vacationing in Rio Grande and my 82yo mom has rapidly become deconditioned and is no longer able to walk, barely able to stand. She requires max assist getting in/out of bed, on/off toilet, for showering and dressing. She needs reminders to drink. She is oriented but sleeps most of the day from a CAR T-cell transplant in February. My kids and I are hoping to get out of the condo and explore a little and my back is killing me from transferring my mom alone. About the care needs: Female English speaking only; sorry, but she has slowly become afraid of men is her older age. Someone kind, patient and compassionate that understands she is slow to respond and needs prompting. She is hard of hearing, and needs someone who can speak loudly and clearly. Someone who doesnt mind sitting on a beautiful balcony overlooking the ocean and pool while caring for her. Someone who wont mind accompanying us to the pool and beaches if she gets stronger before we leave on 4/19. Services needed include: feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
