About who needs care: She recently got out of the hospital for water in her lungs. Breathing is really tough on her. She has an oxygen tank & a hospital standard bed. Sue to the hospital stay she has low energy and may need some assistance to the bathroom & possibly some meals. About the care needs: I feel the caregiver needs a lot of patience. When my mother is in pain or u comfortable, she might come across as cranky or rude. I dont believe the caregiver needs to administer a shot but experience with oxygen tanks would be great. My mother loves to sing & she has a karaoke machine. She loves to sing classic Puerto Rican ballads.. she can be a lot of fun! Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, companionship, feeding, and bathing / dressing.
