About the job
About who needs care: Ned is 79 and has had dementia for 3-4 years. He's friendly, he's nice and funny and stubborn. He would love a sandwich for lunch. He just needs a companion willing to watch TV... maybe a simple game, a short walk in the neighborhood. He has no hobbies. It's really to help me take a break, go do errands w/out worrying and to keep him away from a steering wheel. We are still in FL, returning 5/8, so no rush. About the care needs: A man would be a great fit, but not that important. No specialized skills, other than a story teller would be great. Ned loves the Phillies and golf. He loves cars. He may like to go for a ride or a walk. He is usually very happy to just sit. Services needed include: transportation, and companionship.
