About who needs care: He had a rough year, a fall with two broken vertebrae and then a serious undetermined virus or bacteria infection. He has recovered and is doing quite well, relatively speaking. He still drives and goes into work most days. His right leg drags sometimes. He has moved his bedroom to the first floor so he does not climb steps. He does not think he needs help. About the care needs: He is not very social but does enjoy someone who talks, although non-stop talking will drive him crazy. No real specialized skills required at this point. He loves wildlife and birds, but that is certainly not a requirement for the caregiver. Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, and light housekeeping.
