About who needs care: My great aunt suffers from a condition called Ataxia. Ataxia is essentially when the muscle coordination stops working properly. My aunt has lost almost all of her coordination in both her legs. She is unable to walk and often loses control of various body parts including arms, legs and rocking her entire body. She is a very sweet, kind, football loving, dog loving, ice cream loving tiny woman. Shes very light weight. She has always enjoyed crocheting but is no longer able to participate because of her loss of hand control. She likes to watch footballs, read, do puzzles on computers, and she loves her tiny dog named Lady. We are looking for someone who is able to work 10 p.m. - 6 a.m. She just needs assistance utilizing the toilet before bed, in the morning, and in the middle of the night if needed. If shes willing, a shower before bed would be ideal. If shes awake early and wants breakfast, that would be wonderful. She is very simple and likes waffles, pop tarts, cereal and donuts. About the care needs: Preferably someone kind and talkative. Someone who is able to lift and transport her from her couch to the toilet. Someone who would be able to shower her. We do have a routine that works and we can show you! She is also 90 pounds. Very small. If you like the Steelers she will love you. Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, companionship, feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
