About who needs care: My mom is an independent woman who is currently diagnosed with dementia, but does not recognize that. She is very mobile and likes taking daily walks. She also likes to read and I believe would appreciate the companionship once she is comfortable with another person. She is also a cat lover and has 1 cat, though believes she has more. She is resistance to moving in with family or to assisted care. Until we can make those arrangements, she will need assistance with her errands, ensuring meals are ready made for her, and that she is safe. About the care needs: She will likely be receptive to someone who is mild mannered, very patient, and a female.
