Key Responsibilities:
Provide personal care services including assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
Assist with mobility, transfers, and ambulation.
Help clients with medication reminders, light housekeeping, and meal preparation.
Ensure the safety and comfort of clients at all times.
Respond promptly to changes in client care needs or emergencies.
Maintain accurate records of services provided and report any changes in client condition to the supervisor.
Be available for scheduled shifts, emergencies, or to cover shifts on short notice (standby/pull-status).
Required Qualifications:
Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Home Health Aide (HHA) certification (preferred, but not required).
At least 1 year of experience in caregiving or a related field.
Ability to pass a background check in accordance with Philadelphia state laws.
Must be available to work flexible hours and be on-call for standby or pull-status care when needed.
Strong communication skills and ability to work independently.
Compassionate, patient, and dependable.
Additional Requirements:
Compliance with Philadelphia's minimum wage and overtime laws for home care workers.
Physical ability to lift and assist clients as needed, following appropriate safety protocols.
Access to reliable transportation for commuting to client homes.
