About who needs care: Care is for both female and male. Female is legally blind and uses a walker. Needs assistance with cooking and cleaning, general household chores and bathing. Needs help getting to doctors appointments and errands Male has Alzheimer's. Needs help being engaged in being involved in activities of daily living, taken on walks, conversation. Needs to be watched/monitored as he can wander off and gets into everything. Some help with toileting. (He can feed himself). Medication prompts. He bird watching, sitting outside. About the care needs: Looking for someone with previous experience with Alzheimer's patient care giving. Someone who is interested in engaging in conversation with both husband and wife. Calm and patient. Someone that is caring and compassionate and interested in helping two seniors stay in their home. Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, companionship, feeding, and bathing / dressing.
