About who needs care: Dad has interstial lung disease that has progressed to the point of needing supplemental oxygen 24x7. After a recent hospital stay, he now needs assistance with daily living tasks such as dressing, bathing, meal prep and oxygen line management when walking. He is a very sweet man, who enjoys reading the newspaper, being outside, watching TV and having conversation with others. About the care needs: Positive, encouraging . Dad is still fairly functional cognitively. . Continuity of care is also important. Ability to administer blood pressure and pulse ox testing, management of oxygen lines, and administering meds. Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, companionship, feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
