About who needs care: Dementia but does communicate. Mobile but needs monitoring when walking. She uses a walker. Will need robust encouragement to do physical therapy. Very slow paced day. Open to ideas to engage my Mom instead of watching TV all the time. About the care needs: Patient & thick skinned. My Mom's deteriorating memory makes things challenging. She does have many moments of clarity but has much trouble learning new things. Ideas to engage my Mom ate appreciated! Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, companionship, feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
