About the job
About who needs care: Some dementia, Sclerosing mesenteritis, peripheral neuropathy. He alternates between constipation and diarrhea. I am his caregiver. I need help showering him once per week and at least one - two days per week, 4 +/- hours per week to help with light housekeeping so I can get things done. Also would like occasional 3-4 days so I can visit with our son in SC. I do have a son living in the area who will watch him from 3 p.m. and overnight while I am away. I would like to go to SC the 2nd or 3rd week in May. He likes to watch TV, be read to. About the care needs: Positive personality, patience. No specialized skills. Conservative political views. Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, feeding, and bathing / dressing.
