Client has late stage dementia & sits most of the day. Ambulates independently w/ a rollator. Requires assistance with daily living activities to include but not limited to: Companionship, ensuring safety, Toilet assistance, Bathing, Dressing, Cooking meals, Medicine administration, Light cleaning & laundering. Seeking a reliable, professional, compassionate team player w/ a minimum 3 years of dementia care experience. Ability to initiate and encourage "small talk" w/ the client & enjoy simple chit chat and laughing at client's word play and pun style jokes. Clear verbal & written communication (English) & ability to read & document events is a must. Prefer someone flexible with scheduling to help cover extra shifts as needed. reliable transportation, phone, reachability and ability to communicate effectively via text and phone call.
