About who needs care: He had a stroke in October that he is recovering from in a nursing home. Soon it will be time for him to go home, where he receives support and care giving from close friends, but other times would be alone. He is able to function, but we are concerned for his stability while transitioning place to place in the house (bathroom, etc.). 82 years old, very intelligent, open-minded, highly spiritual, well-mannered and good hearten servant of Father God, a delight to know and be around. We wish he would stay with us forever, but since we all must move on, we are blessed to know that it will happen in the next life. While he has been able, he was our strong spiritual leader and has accomplished a lot for the Lord. About the care needs: The ideal candidate would be caring and kind, certified, and physically able to handle his normal size body under these circumstances - in case of a fall, in need of some support? - Other than that, I am sure he will be delighted to have someone around whom he can talk about the Lord's doing, but he is gently, humble, and modest, not pressing his views on anyone. Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, and mobility assistance.
