About who needs care: My husband is in early stages of Alzheimer's with mild cognitive decline. Hobbies include walking the dog, painting and collage art, reading. I work from home. He needs someone as a companion to encourage him to do his art, word puzzles, language flash cards, run local errands, go to movies, provide mental stimulation. I'm thinking 2 hours per day, one or two days per week, one morning, one afternoon. Male companion would probably be best. I won't make any decisions until after the holidays. About the care needs: Easy going personality, with a good sense of humor. Someone with interest in art, painting, collage, etc. Must like dogs. Services needed include: companionship.
