Hands-on Care Needed For My Father In Langhorne

About who needs care: My dad has Parkinson's Disease and was just diagnosed with a Stage 4 neuroendocrine tumor on his pancreas that has spread to his liver. He is currently in a rehabilitation facility and we are hoping he can come home soon. We in the process of figuring out of what his care plan will be. He will be on Homecare for 4-6 weeks after he is discharged from the rehab. We are looking for some extra help to coincide with the homecare. He doesn't really have any hobbies anymore. Sometimes he will watch television. He really loves to just be at home in his chair with my mom and his cat, JJ. We are hoping someone will be able to help with light tasks around the house and help with laundry. He is incontinent and wears depends. He needs reminders to change his depends and he may need help with showering, cleaning and dressing. We will know more when he gets home from Rehab. About the care needs: Since his Parkinson's progression he is not much of a conversationalist. He will talk for a little and then he kind of goes into his own world. He does sleep a lot. He is the sweetest man and we just want to be able to stay at home. That is where he wants to be. As time progresses he will need more help. He definitely needs stand by assist now and assistance with showering and dressing. Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, feeding, and bathing / dressing.
