About the job
I am a 53-year-old female with progressive MS in a power wheelchair. I am seeking a self-starting, compassionate, flexible, and reliable caregiver to assist me in my home in Manheim Township area. This is an overnight asleep position with availability for PRN hours every day 6:30 pm-1:30 p.m. the next day. Beginning in early to mid May, the days I would need assistance would be every Friday and every other Saturday. I have a guest room and shared bathroom for my caregiver. I am looking for someone to assist with light to moderate housekeeping, hygiene, laundry, mobility, meal preparation, transportation assistance to and from church/appointments, mobility, transfers using a standing lift/manual assistance, running errands (mileage reimbursement), organization, and companionship.
