About the job
Companion care to help take care of our moms. Would prefer someone who can handle laundry. Seeking someone to handle some meal preparation. Duties include providing companionship, social interaction, help with showers, walking in the driveway, sitting on the porch. Generally just keeping an eye on them so my wife can run errands and such. Prefer a non-smoker and comfortable with pets. Most of the time we are able to give them all of their meds. Both moms are pleasant. One mom is 77 and had a stroke last November. She can use the bathroom and get around by herself. Needs some help bathing, needs meals prepared for her. The other mom is 83, has dementia. Mostly affects her short term memory. She can use the bathroom and get around by herself with a cane. Needs some help bathing, gets meals on wheels for lunch.
