About who needs care: I have MS and limited mobility. When I have an episode, I need help with daily transfers from my wheelchair to commode to bed and weekly to my shower bench. I am independent with standing and transfers when I am not in an episode. A normal week would be one 4 hr (?) morning for laundry, shower transfer and meal prep for 2 or 3 dinners ideally. In episode (2-3 times a year), it would be great if it could be split 2 hours in the am and 2 hrs later in the afternoon 2 or 3 days thatweek. About the care needs: I get along with most people so just a kind and encouraging woman. I have an ETAC turner that is very simple to use to make the transfers easier for the caregiver and me. It is an adult Lazy Susan that I pull my body up and stand on and she turns me around to the place I need to sit and I sit. Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, and mobility assistance.
