About who needs care: Mom has dementia, she has been living in a nursing home for the last year and I recently brought her home. She's currently on hospice. She is vocal she can feed herself, she does need assistance with ADLs. We are creating a routine for her in my home. She will be confused initially until we get into the groove of things. About the care needs: I am looking somebody who is familiar with dementia patients and completely comfortable with diaper changes, bed baths, oral hygiene and transfers... the ideal person will be friendly, upbeat and encouraging. Services needed include: companionship, bathing / dressing, mobility assistance, light housekeeping for Mom's area, meal preparation (breakfast and lunch), etc... Most days will you will be done at or around 3 p.m. unless a schedule adjustment is necessary.
