Seeking Part-time Senior Care Provider .

About who needs care: My mom has dementia and I do her grocery shopping, cleaning and cooking. I check in with my mom every morning on my drive to work. We talk for about 45 minutes and then she gets up around 8:00 to get herself ready for the day and make her breakfast. She has recently started using a walker and is dizzy, which is a concern. My mom will get her lunch together around 11:30. My sister will come to her house at 3:30 to heat up her dinner. I go to her house by 6:30 and will stay with her until 8/8:30 and help her into bed. We are currently looking for someone to be with her from 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. to make sure she is situated for the morning. As things progress we will be searching for more care. About the care needs: My mom is an intelligent woman. Held jobs as a secretary and was the family caretaker throughout her life. The person that comes to help must be able to speak to her in a normal tone. We have encountered caretakers that speak in a sing-song manner - which is not appreciated. She also wants as much independence as possible. We are in need of an individual that is willing to assist her as needed without taking all of her independence away from her. Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, companionship, feeding, and bathing / dressing.
