Companion Care Needed For My Husband In Flourtown

We need companion care to take care of my husband in Flourtown. Duties include providing companionship to enable him to sleep knowing someone is there if he needs help, talking to him, playing games such as word puzzles, chess. He enjoys reading, watching TV, talking about our cats and yours. Preferences for a caregiver who is a non-smoker, English speaking, caring for someone who is hard-of-hearing and has some dementia. Position is for night shift in a nursing home. Hours negotiable on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. Duties can include turning and repositioning, assisting facility staff with incontinence care, keeping his room clean, offering snack and drinks, communication with nurse and aides working on the unit and other duties approved by nurse, giving update to patient's wife in the morning.
