About the job
About who needs care: Our son is spinal cord injured from a fall and is quadraplegic. He is able to make his needs known. My wife and I take care of him all of the time, and are looking for someone to assist with his care 1-2 days per week. In the late morning. He is straight cathed in order to void, so need an RN, LPN, or an individual willing to learn. About the care needs: Our son has a great sense of humor. He is a voracious reader and enjoys conversation, especially pop culture. We use a hoyer lift to transfer him from bed to power chair which he is able to maneuver through our house that was built for his needs (zero entry). We have no pets. He is on a bowel/bladder program, so would need a person familiar with this or someone willing to learn. Services needed include: feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
