About the job
I need senior care provider with experience with dementia. The meals are ready made but food needs processed so that it is easier swallowed. The medication needs crushed and is always mixed into ice cream so it can be swallowed. Water is given through a straw to wash down the ice cream and meds. A hoyer lift is used to move her from the couch to her hospital bed in an adjacent room. We wipe her clean, change her depends and apply creams and put her into pajamas.
