About who needs care: Needs help with transferring (a little), dressing (a little bit) and help with his Ileostomy and Foley. He knows how to do himself but needs help with the execution (emptying of both). He can provide instructions while someone helps. Walks with a walker but needs someone to monitor his balance as he walks. He can feed himself, but needs someone to prepare meals. Most of the time he is napping or watching TV so there is a good bit of down time. About the care needs: Tends to be more comfortable with females who are empathetic/good listeners (who dont mind a lot of dad jokes). Someone who will share conversation. He is very intelligent and strong cognitively (lawyer/business man) Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, companionship, feeding, and bathing / dressing.
