About the job
I am requesting care for self in Darlington (South Beaver Twp) home. This not in the city nor on a bus-line so self-transport is referrable. A 57 YR male w/ spinal cord injury (SCI). I utilize a ceiling mounted lift for transfers into my electronic wheelchair. I am equipped w/ an indwelling catheter (supra-pubic) & ostomy for continence. Assistance with bathing/dressing is requested, as is: medicine (3 pills); simple meal preparation; dishes/laundry; assistance w/ grocery; and transporting to/from appointments (monthly) or work location in my van. I work from home 20 + hrs. per week so occasional computer assistance may be asked. Preferences for a caregiver who is comfortable with pets. FYI, I live on a farm animal rescue & enjoy being outdoors when the weather deems it possible!
