About who needs care: My mom has an ileostomy bag and has issues with it adhering to her skin. She does have a home health nurse that she can call 24/7, but needs help with daily tasks. My dad is a recent amputee and needs assistance since my mom cannot wait on him hand and foot. About the care needs: They should be willing to empty male urinals and a commode as needed. Able to cook and prepare food that my parents enjoy. Both of my parents have diabetes, dad has it more severe than my mom. They should also be willing to have a quiet interaction with them as well as able to hold a full conversation with them. Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
