I'm looking for companion care for my mother in her 80s. She has age related dementia and needs a little guidance for most tasks. In her earlier life, she raised 4 boys (all with families of their own) and maintained a progressive career as an IT programmer and manager. Needless to say, she is now bored each day with my husband and I working. He as a paint contractor and I am a work from home Health IT professional. We would get her ready in the morning and would love it if an ideal candidate could keep her company during the day chatting, watching TV, coloring, puzzles, and preparing a lunch and maybe a snack. She is still somewhat independent and does not need personal care at this time. Preferences for a caregiver who is a non-smoker, comfortable with pets and CPR / first-aid trained.
