About the job
About who needs care: My mom is lovely but has dementia and parkinsons so she needs a lot of help and reassurance. She likes walking, reading, napping, talking, coloring, and especially eating dessert. I need someone to take her on a walk outside, as well as heat up her food, remind her to drink, and give her medications on time. Other than those basic needs I just need someone to talk, spend time, and have fun with her. I'm looking for one day per week, flexible on the days and times but probably around 5-8 hours. Prefer Wednesday but could make Tuesday, Thursday, or Friday work as well. About the care needs: someone who enjoys going on a walk outside every time they come over as well as someone that is used to dealing with people with dementia. Services needed include: companionship, feeding, and bathing / dressing.
