About who needs care: Former writer, and preforming artist/teacher. Recently diagnosed with ALS, wheelchair bound, needs assistance with light housework/ chores. Meal preparation, help eating as well. Health hygiene, help transferring from wheelchair to other destinations with assisted walking. Bed adjustments through the night since I cannot adjust myself. About the care needs: Cargiver must be Understand, Dependable, lots of patience as ALS has affected how well I communicate, Compassionate. Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, companionship, feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
