About who needs care: Due to a fracture, she cannot put weight on her left leg. She needs a guiding hand when she shifts from one chair to another, and to the toilet. She is very cognizant and does not need medication help. She will need help dressing and bathing. Mornings from 5 a.m. to noon are the busiest with bathroom, breakfast, dressing, etc. About the care needs: Someone who doesn't mind being quiet. The apartment is very small so the caregiver will not be able to go off by herself. My mother listens often to her talking book. Mostly she does not need major help. A little bit of food prep for breakfast and bringing things to her when she needs something. Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
