Help needed for my father and mother in their 80s - seeking part-time hands-on care. We are specifically seeking a care giver that meets the requirements for our long term care insurance. This can be a lisc. nurse, social worker, etc or a certified home health aid or a CNA or you have worked in a facility or agency providing care for at least 12 months in the last 5 years. The ideal match will meet the requirements below. Some light tidying up is involved. Taking them for a walk or exercise class, putting on some swing music for him to listen/dance to. Play gin rummy or set him up on the ipad for bridge. Helping the put on compression stockings, ordering lunch,, plating, and serving it. Someone personable who has worked with someone with a head injury/dementia is helpful as my father does need prompting for his ADL's. Shifts are 4 hours.
