About who needs care: I have Parkinsons, which affects me primarily by making walking difficult, even with a walker. I have a motorized wheelchair. I have a digital piano and practice daily. I primarily need companionship and someone to monitor my exercising. Most of all I cant fall any more, so I need someone to rermind me to transition from walker to wheelchair carefully.. About the care needs: Someone who lets me ask what I want help with, doesnt assume I need help when I can do things myself. Stand-by assist seems to cover the level of care I want. I lIve in a senior living apartment, so I have housekeeping service once a week and I often east in my apartment so my companion usually bring s my meals to me. Services needed include: companionship, and mobility assistance.
