I'm looking for hands-on care for a disabled person in their 40s. Seeking in-home care, 2 part-time positions, each 5 hours per week, paid through medicaid. Asking for 2 because backup always needed in case one quits or needs vacation time... If you are not already a registered care provider, you must be willing to first attend free online training (also partially paid) to register as a home care provider to receive medicaid payment. The registration also requires and pays for a background check. Duties include shopping, laundry, get mail, pick up prescription, deliver rent check to office, vegan meal prep (from your own home is fine, usually just soup to be stored in tupperware in freezer), eventually feeding, once trust is developed. Tasks may be divided by 2 caregivers. Note: EVENING HOURS ONLY. MASK REQUIRED.
