Companionship And Health Care For My Mother In Portland

We're looking for hands-on care for our mother in her 90s. We are looking for someone to start as a part time care giver to ease our mother into more health care as needed as she ages. We currently have a full time companion, living nearby but not in her home, and she needs time off. The perfect schedule to start would be Thursday mornings each week, but we would likely extend to 2 days per week or more if it is a good match. We envision you arriving, chatting and visiting, and then taking vitals such as blood pressure, and most importantly administering her medication. We require someone with a nursing credential - a registered nurse or certified nursing assistant - that can increase the level care as our mother ages. Help with mobility and light exercise would be wonderful as well.
