I need senior care provider who is comfortable coaxing my mom (get up, try to go to the toilet, etc) and who will follow instructions provided. She is a very pleasant lady but has short term memory problems and is hard of hearing (but can read lips) We are looking for a facility that offers a higher level of care and it may take a month or more. Mom has a small dog that needs walking morning and night. She has a scooter and can take him but, for the dog's sake, it's best if she is accompanied. She enjoys hearing about your family and she likes to have a glass of wine in the evening. Our care concerns are: Light Housekeeping, Encouraging walking, help with shoes and socks, Companionship, Occasional grocery shopping is possible. Some light tidying up is involved. Supervising bedtime routine, communicating with daughter.
