About who needs care: COPD severe. Need help bathing and washing hair. Being there when no one else is home, in case I need to use the potty. I get my oxygen cord tangled in electric wheelchair sometimes. I might need something to drink or munch from the kitchen. Nothing major. When I take more than a few steps I can't breathe. About the care needs: Just basics of an oxygen concentrator -- just turning the knob up or down as requested. Also hard of hearing, so someone patient if they need to repeat what is said. Otherwise, someone who has empathy for chronically ill people and someone who likes to be around people. Services needed include: companionship, feeding, and bathing / dressing.
