About who needs care: Undiagnosed short-term dementia, self insecurities, gets embarrassed easily, states at times she feels lonely. Gardening and anything planting. She feeds the birds that come to her deck, watching and reading anything to do with U. S history. She will talk your ear off about her family history in Alaska. She likes looking at clothes magazines and cleaning up here house. Gets up at 7-7:30 a.m. and makes a cup of coffee and grabs anything for breakfast in the fridge (she does not like to cook for herself). Watches the AM news and feeds her dog. Goes to her bathroom to put her makeup on and do her hair. Some days she will want to go to the bank to pull out money to go to the grocery store (she will need help to get the items she needs since she will tend to forget her grocery list). Comes home around 11/11:30 to eat lunch and then she will take a long nap until the evening. About the care needs: Anyone who has a good heart and can understand how this disease works. I need someone who can take things with a grain of salt due to her personality type and her past family and cultural history/trauma. I need someone that can continue to remind her what she was planning on doing and watch over here while I am at work and can take her to places she would like to go if needed. I would only need someone in the mornings. If you're into taking about history, what's going on in the world, and can handle all the story telling you'll be my favorite. Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, and companionship.
